Family business with international projection
Altosa was born in 1963 and its main activity is the marketing of several types of alcohol. However, Altosa, an international family business group based in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real), Spain, has been linked to the world of wine since 1788.
Nowadays, Altosa is managed by the López Montero family’s second generation. The company’s activities are diversified, becoming one of the largest alcohol and wine companies in the world.
Currently, its activity includes the production of wine alcohols with industrial origins, varietal wines with organic certification, concentrated and sulfur grape musts, as well as tartaric acid.
